Fatma Betül SAYAN KAYA
Chairman of Social Policies
Electrical-Electronics Engineer, Medical Doctor. She has come into the world as the 3rd child of a lawyer family in Fatih,Istanbul. After studying at in Fatih Primary School, she finished Beyoğlu Anatolian High School (English High School). She graduated from Bilkent University Electrical and Electronics Engineering as a scholarship student with honors degree. She graduated from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine.
After working as a project engineer in Istanbul for a while, he worked at the New York University, one of the best universities in America, with postgraduate studies. With the 5th Ordinary Congress in 2009, the AK Party was elected as a member of Istanbul Provincial Board of Directors. Later, she worked until 2012 as an advisor to the AK Party Chairman with our Founding President, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
Kaya was re-elected as a member of Istanbul Provincial Board of Directors with the congress in 2012 and she was appointed deputy chairman provincial responsible for the AK Party Istanbul Publicity Media. Kaya led the formation of teams in 39 provinces of Istanbul by establishing the Social Media Structure of the AK Party the Istanbul Provincial Organization.
Started social media education at three levels in Istanbul organizations. Kaya made the Chairman of Istanbul Culture and Art Politics Commission. In 2014 Local Elections, Kaya served as Election Coordination Center Publicity Media Supervisor and in 2014 Presidential elections, ERDOĞAN ISTANBUL election office Publicity Media Supervisor. With the 5th Ordinary Congress, the AK Party was elected as a member of MKYK.
She served as the deputy chairman of the AK Party responsible for AR-GE. With the MYK amendment dated November 25, 2015, the AK Party Deputy Chairman for External Relations were appointed.
Fatma Betül Sayan Kaya, who was elected as the 26th term Istanbul deputy, was appointed Minister of Family and Social Policy of the 65th Government on 25.04.2016. She continued to serve in the new cabinet, Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım announced on July 19, 2017.
Kaya was elected the 27th term Istanbul deputy in the general elections held on 24 June 2018. She currently works as a deputy chairman of Social Policies.
Kaya is married and she has two children. She speaks English and German very well.
