Speaking at AK Party’s provincial heads meeting, President Erdoğan said: “Praise be to Allah, we have been walking determinedly with the support and prayers of our august nation for 25 years. We have reached these days without deviating from the direction set by the nation. Thank Allah, we have been working round the clock without letting our august nation down and with the awareness of the heavy burden it has placed on us.”
President and Justice and Development (AK) Party Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan delivered a speech at the party’s provincial heads meeting in Ankara.
“This year, we are marking the 25th foundation anniversary of our party. On this blessed path we set out on with the maxim, ‘nothing will ever be the same again,’ on August 14, 2001, we, praise be to Allah, have been walking determinedly with the support and prayers of our august nation for 25 years. Despite the countless attacks targeting our party, we have relied first on Allah and then on the people. We have reached these days without deviating from the direction set by the nation. Thank Allah, we have been working round the clock without letting our august nation down and with the awareness of the heavy burden it has placed on us. We intend to make the most of the 25th foundation anniversary of our party in a manner befitting its importance and meaning as well as the unique place it holds in our history in terms of our fight for our party and democracy and for development. While reflecting on our past 25 years, every day and every moment of which has been marked by the politics of services and projects, we will also lay out our vision for greater achievements in the second quarter-century,” President Erdoğan said.
