President Erdoğan meets with Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed of Ethiopia

 

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who is in Addis Ababa for an official visit, met with Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Ali of Ethiopia.

President Erdoğan was welcomed with an official ceremony by Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed of Ethiopia at the National Palace in Addis Ababa.

Once the two leaders arrived at the ceremonial ground, the national anthems of Türkiye and Ethiopia were played. Following the introduction of the delegations, President Erdoğan and Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed posed for the press and proceeded to their tête-à-tête and the meeting between the delegations.

The welcoming ceremony was preceded by a wreath-laying ceremony at the Adwa Victory Memorial in Addis Ababa.
