“The new Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine building will provide healthcare services to our citizens as a high-standard hospital”
Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony of the 1st phase of Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine Hospital, President Erdoğan said: “The new building of the Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine, for the 1st phase of which we will shortly break the ground, will provide healthcare services to our citizens as a high-standard hospital that has the latest technology. We have designed all our hospital buildings within the project in a manner that they will be equipped with seismic isolators and resilient against earthquakes.”
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made a speech at a ceremony for the groundbreaking of the 1st phase of Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine Hospital and the opening of the University’s 16 education and dormitory buildings in Istanbul.
“ALL OUR HOSPITAL BUILDINGS ARE EQUIPPED WITH SEISMIC ISOLATORS”
President Erdoğan said: “When we will inshallah complete our project here, we will have built a modern and strong campus, which will befit Istanbul with an indoor area of a total of 650 thousand square meters, 900 patient beds, 150 of them intensive care, 40 operation rooms, 3,000-capacity parking lot, a helipad as well as education and dormitory buildings. The new building of the Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine, for the 1st phase of which we will shortly break the ground, will provide healthcare services to our citizens as a high-standard hospital that has the latest technology. We have designed all our hospital buildings within the project in a manner that they will be equipped with seismic isolators and resilient against earthquakes.”
“TODAY WE ARE ALSO OFFICIALLY INAUGURATING 16 SERVICE BUILDINGS”
“Esteemed guests, today we are also officially inaugurating 16 service buildings that have an indoor area of a total of 190 thousand square meters in four different campuses. We are putting into service 16 facilities, including the rectorate and administrative sciences building, faculty institute and vocational school, student cultural center as well as canoe, rowing and sports facilities, in the Avcılar campus of our University. We are also putting into service the historical chief physician and clinical sciences building in the Cerrahpaşa campus, the 350-student capacity girls’ dormitory, whose reinforcement works have been completed, in the Büyükçekmece campus, and the Faculty of Health Sciences, whose reinforcement works have been completed as well, in the Bakırköy campus,” President Erdoğan said.
