Addressing AK Party’s parliamentary group meeting, President Erdoğan said: “Leaving aside our differences of origin, disposition and sect, we must all together uphold unity and glorify brotherhood in this painful period our region is going through. We should speak through the language of brotherhood and give our messages of peace in a very strong manner beyond our borders, not just among ourselves.”

President and Justice and Development (AK) Party Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan delivered a speech at the party’s parliamentary group meeting.

“Our origins, our sects, dispositions, lifestyles, our worlds of thought or political opinions may be different from one another. All of these are unique values that reflect our social and intellectual richness, not some things that divide, discriminate against or polarize us,” President Erdoğan stated, and said: “Leaving aside our differences of origin, disposition and sect, we must all together uphold unity and glorify brotherhood in this painful period our region is going through. We should speak through the language of brotherhood and give our messages of peace in a very strong manner beyond our borders, not just among ourselves. Türkiye is striving for this.”
