“We will make the great Türkiye the shining star of this century”
In a speech at AK Party’s group meeting, President Erdoğan, addressing the youth, said: “The new Türkiye will be your creation. The great and strong Türkiye will rise on your shoulders. To this end, we will be one, united and powerful. Together, we will make the great Türkiye the shining star of this century.”
President and Justice and Development (AK) Party Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan delivered a speech during the party’s group meeting at the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye (GNAT).
“ANY MOVEMENT THAT UNDERESTIMATES THE YOUTH STANDS NO CHANCE OF SUCCESS”
“As you know, yesterday we marked the 107th anniversary of the ignition of our independence torch in Samsun. We celebrated the May 19 Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day at the Nation’s Library of the Presidency with the participation of over 200 of our young people, including champion athletes,” President Erdoğan said. “As a brother of yours who has always walked with the youth throughout his political life spanning nearly half a century, I would like to make it clear that any movement that underestimates the youth and turns its back on them stands no chance of success. Any struggle which the youth does not give shoulder to cannot be lasting or victorious.”
President Erdoğan stated: “We will continue to trust the youth and clear the path in front of them. We will make our utmost to ensure our young people grow up in the best, most qualified, and most conscious manner, guided by our national and moral values. We will continue to work in a spirit of mobilization to secure the excellence of the TEKNOFEST youth, the assurance of our future, in every area. In the meantime, we will for sure pay heed to constructive criticisms, remedy the shortcomings, if any, and will not hesitate to take action in accordance with the well-intentioned recommendations, observations and criticisms aimed at consolidating our bonds with the youth.”

Addressing the youth, President Erdoğan went onto say, “It matters a great deal to us that you possess all the means and resources to make your dreams come true. We believe in you and trust you. You will inshallah complete the construction of the Century of Türkiye. With the success stories you write, you will make both your families and our nation proud,” and added: “The new Türkiye will be your creation. The great and strong Türkiye will rise on your shoulders. To this end, we will be one, united and powerful. Together, we will make the great Türkiye the shining star of this century.”
