President Erdoğan conveyed his condolences to the Emir of Qatar, Tamim

 

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan conveyed his condolences to the Emir of Qatar, Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, in Doha—the capital of Qatar—where he had traveled to offer condolences following the passing of the former Emir, Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.

President Erdoğan was welcomed at Hamad International Airport by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs, Sheikh Saud bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan Al Thani, before proceeding to Lusail Palace.

There, President Erdoğan offered his condolences to the Emir of Qatar, Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.

President Erdoğan was accompanied by Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek, Head of the National Intelligence Organization (MİT) İbrahim Kalın, Head of Communications Burhanettin Duran, President of Religious Affairs Safi Arpaguş, and Türkiye’s Ambassador to Doha, Mustafa Göksu.
